SO MUCH HISTORY.

So, I'm on to my second week of high school. In the beginning of this week, I HATED IT. I was crying from stress, wanted to change schools, stressed about history, all that mumbo jumbo. Lemme just tell you here, I'm in AP World History, and it ain't easy (excuse the grammar there). We have to do these packets and look in the text book and it takes me hours and hours. I was up till midnight last night. If it weren't for my friend telling me about the outlines of the chapters and the website they have, I would have had a mental break down. I did so bad on my first one, but got a way better score on the second one. I have a system down, so I'm better now. I really like my English class. We're gonna read all these cool books and tomorrow a bunch of people are bringing in food for a project, an easy one if you ask me, but I still like that class and I like the teacher. She always talks about something interesting that goes along with what we're doing. Anyways, that's all for now, because frankly, I have some homework left to do. Bye! :) ~Aspen

First Day of High School

Well, it's been awhile. So today I started High School. Lemme just tell you this, right here, right now. I don't like it. I have two math classes, an AP history class and NO electives. So I can't do art or acting or any of that fun stuff. Nada. It angers me. But I have homework to do, FIRST DAY, and I have a test on Wednesday. Fun, right? Well, I better go study!

Birthday Party!

Today I had my birthday party and it was super fun! We went swimming and had a water balloon fight and a delicious pig roast! It was sooooo fun! I'm really tired now though, so I'll blog about it later. Night my lovlies! :) ~Aspen

Shopping spree (not really) and No tax!

So today, as all of you know, is my 14th birthday. I had a really good day! I woke up and basically just took a shower and all that good stuff then my dad came over with my present (a harry potter chess set, so cool!) and then he took me out to lunch (actually we had Chinese take out, yum!) with my mom and then my mommy gave me her presents, which were cute little clip-ons to flip flops, dove deodorant (smells sooo good!) a fancy razor, I really wanted one haha, a super cool photo holder, and nail polish! So after that, one of my best friends (it's her birthday too!) picked me up and we got manicures (that was her present to me) and then we went to target, and  I got no tax on my socks! After that I came home and me, my mom and my aunt went shopping at the mall and we went to Macy's because there was no tax and a bunch of sales. I got a really cute romper and some lipstick. Then we went to the M.A.C store and I saw three things I really wanted. After that we came home and my aunt left and currently me and my mom are just lounging in the living room. Today was a really good day! So that's it for now! :) ~Aspen

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

I'm Back!

I was recently on vacation and I couldn't update my blog, but here I am now! I had a great time in Vermont. I was with my cousin for most of the time but I saw my friends too and I went to my friend Ruby's birthday party! It was so fun! We stayed up really late, until around 4 AM!!! It was so much fun. And now MY birthday is coming up! It's Friday! I can't wait!!! Well, I guess that's all for right now, bye! ~Aspen

Going to Vermont!

Tomorrow I'm going to Vermont! I used to live there, but now I live somewhere in Florida. Haha, anyways, my cousin lives there as well as one of my best friends. My cousin doesn't have to work Wednesday or Thursday (and if you haven't figured it out, she's older than me, because she has a job and can drive) so I'm gonna go to her house and we're gonna have a Harry Potter marathon because I've only seen the first four movies, so I need to catch up, then after we're seeing the last one in 3D. Yep, it's gonna be a fun time. And during my visit, my friend Ruby is having her birthday party so I'm gonna go to it! I don't exactly know what I'm gonna get her, but I'll figure it out. So, I'm out! :) ~Aspen

What to talk about...

So, I'm trying to blog everyday but right now I don't really have a topic to blog about. I'm not getting much action here, no comments. :( I wish more people could see it except for my friends. If anybody reads this, please be sure to tell your friends AND some blog ideas and what you want to see!


Actually......I just thought of something to blog about! So I moved into a new house last month and I'm redoing my room. There's this really cool mural on my wall of a beach, but the wall paper around it was old and gross and falling off so my mom took it off today. Turns out....the walls are REALLY damaged. I don't really want to remove the image though and I might have too! But, if I do have to, I'm going to make a wall of flowers! How cool would that be?! So anyways, that's it for now. See ya! ~Aspen

Today I decided I'd dye my hair tips purple. I like them but they are not as vibrant as I would like and there's a lot of bare spots. I did them myself so I have no one to blame but myself. I'm going to redo them. Bye for now! :) ~Aspen

My Weird Dream

Most nights I remember my dreams, and some of them are very strange if you ask me. Last night, I had 2 dreams. The first was cool and confusing and the second on was....cool and weird! Anyways, let's get started on explaining things here. In my first dream I was picked out of a bunch of people, but there was also two other people who got picked (I don't know who) and so I was picked to get a bunch of prizes, and I could pick the prizes. One was getting either and ipad, a nook, and something else I don't remember then there was a bunch of antique and miscellaneous items I could pick from all I want. I had a bunch of stuff I wanted and then I asked the lady there helping me if I could have an ipad, because I already had a nook, and she said, "I don't know where it is, I can't find it." And I said "How can you not find it? I already have a nook!" then she said "The nook is worth 900 hundred dollars now! Sell it and get an ipad!" And I'm like "I don't care! I want the ipad!" Very weird dream. Now the second one was in a big field and this lady was gonna go into a huge pumpkin, and there was a  HUGE crowd. I was in the front row and and I left for a bit then I came back and the crowd was too big I couldn't see it. it was such a big disappointment. :( Then my dog ran off then I found her. Haha, so those were my dreams! Hope they entertained you in some way! ~Aspen

First Blog!

Hey girlies! So, this is my first blog here on "The Aspen Chronicles." If you didn't already guess, my name is Aspen. SO, you're probably wondering "What the heck is this Aspen chick gonna write about?!" Well, here's your answer: I will write about my life, do some reviews, beauty tips, advice, pretty much anything I please! So, now that we got that all settled, I might as well start blogging right away!


So, tomorrow me and a group of friends planned to go hang out at this local park, but my friends (twin sisters, the planners of this shindig) had to cancel! :(. Their older sister was supposed to watch us (Oh, I should probably tell you I'm 13, heh) but I thought, "Pssh we don't need somebody to watch us!" but oh well, not my choice. Anyways, since it's summer, I often (every night) stay up verrryy late, which is a bad habit of mine. And since school is in less then a month (Gonna be a freshman! By the way, I'm turning 14 August 12th, so it's not like I skipped a grade or something) I should really start to get to bed earlier....but I don't feel like it. One thing I NEED to do is read the books on my summer reading list, and I haven't even finished the first one. I love, love, LOVE reading. I really do. But if it's something as boring as "The Good Earth" I have no interest, thus resulting in me not reading it, thus resulting in failure of the tests and reports on it, thus failure in school, thus failure of life. Haha, okay, that's a little melodramatic, but what I'm saying is I need to get my lazy butt to work!!! So I guess that's all for now my lovlies! Catch ya later! ~Aspen
